Happy New Year! We wish you a healthy, happy and prosperous year ahead.
Two birthdays celebrated this month were for Raymond Matson on the 6th and Ian Birse on the 26th.
Happy Birthday to both gentlemen who celebrated with a cake made from our kitchen and enjoyed by everyone.
On Friday 31st December residents had a “Sing a long” Happy Hour with drinks and nibbles to celebrate the incoming New Year.
Anna, chef, planned and cooked a special meal on New Years’ day which was enjoyed by our residents.
Thanks go to two of our residents Ian Birse and Ashley Connor who have been doing some handy work for us and again to Ian who was most helpful with the putting up and taking down of all our Christmas decorations – sometimes it’s good to be tall!
Thank you to both gentlemen!
Our popular Bingo is still held twice a week and we have games mornings, crafts and walks outside which we encourage – it is always good to get fresh air and to enjoy the beautiful and colourful summer garden.
Mahi did a plastic ‘bubble’ Christmas craft which had an individual photo of resident inside. The photo was taken in front of our beautiful Christmas tree. They turned out very well and made a happy display on the dining notice board!
Canine Friends Pet Therapy came in once but are back on hold for the moment. Our religious services and quizzes had also been resumed keeping strict regulations with them but have also been put on hold at present.
Feedback is always welcomed.
Keep well and be safe, until next month,
Regards
Jennifer Slement and all at Brylyn.
