A warm welcome to our new residents, we wish them a long and happy stay with us.
Birthdays celebrated this month with a cake made from our kitchen were for Christine West, Gordon Huta and Nina Taua. Happy Birthday to all.
We were entertained this month by Charlie and Louise and two new entertainers, Peter Whalley and Roy Blackmore. Residents enjoy the bus trips, this time it was a drive out to Woodlands Estate on 14th April.
We had a morning tea and a BBQ lunch on 18th arranged out on the deck which turned out to be a wonderful and sunny day, our residents certainly seemed to have a good time. Staff joined in at the end making it a lovely social occasion. Residents had Hot Cross Buns on Good Friday and Easter Eggs on the Sunday. Reg held an Anzac Day service on the 25th with a morning tea. Thank you to Reg.
We said goodbye to Evelyn Masoka on 18th who has left our team to follow her dream job. Welcome to our new staff members Anjali, Carla, and Vanitha.
Thank you to our ‘regulars’ who come in and give their time willingly, we are always grateful to those who help us in any way, who give their services freely to our ‘gem’ of a Rest Home. A warm thank you.
