A warm welcome to our new residents Daisy Peta and Ian Birse, we wish them a long and happy stay with us. We have had a busy month with short stay respite residents, we hope they enjoyed their time here.
We celebrated Robin Wilkins, Veronica Toy, Robyn Coleman, Dorothy Tuck and Floss Dunkin’s birthdays this month. Happy Birthday to each one of you. Cakes were baked and enjoyed by all.
Welcome to our new staff member, Registered Nurse, Deepa Joy.
There was a van drive to the Base for shopping and another drive out to Raglan - these trips are always enjoyed by our residents.
Entertainers who came in this month, twice a week mostly on Saturday and Sundays were George, Louise, Tame, Charlie, and Roy. For our Happy Hour, Tipene entertained with his wife as his back singer.
Thank you again to our ‘regulars’ who give their time willingly, we are always grateful for their service.
If there is anyone who would like to offer their time here at Brylyn please pop in or give us a call, perhaps you would like to give an interesting talk or help with an activity etc.
