Hello everyone, may this newsletter find you all well. We are slowly slipping into Autumn so enjoy the last of the wonderful warm days we are having.
We would like to welcome all our new residents, we wish them a long and happy stay with us.
Shameema, Nurse Manager has left Brylyn, we wish her all the best for her future. Aki one of our Caregivers has left. We have two new staff members join our team - Registered Nurse, Joku and Caregiver, Thelma - we hope you will be happy here and enjoy looking after our residents. Two birthdays were celebrated this month for Paula and David. Happy Birthday!
On the 14th some of the residents went on a trip to Raglan and sat eating fish and chips with a lovely view of the sea. We celebrated St Patrick’s Day on 15th being entertained by George playing the guitar and singing. We had a special event movie afternoon in the lounge on 21st which went down well with our residents. Charlie has been in twice to entertain on Saturdays as well as Louise Henry.
We are always grateful for any services family or friends can give to our ‘gem’ of a Rest Home.
