Hello everyone,
Another month gone by and although it is spring, the weather is always unpredictable. Wonderful to see the lambs, daffodils and spring blossoms and flowers everywhere, and good to have the warm days in between.
Hopefully we will be able to lift our visiting restrictions soon. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. It is hard for all of us, but rest assured we are doing our best.
September birthdays were for Marie Johansen on the 9th, Olive Begley on 14th, Ian Stewart on 21st and Joyce Park on 18th. A cake made in our kitchen for these occasions was shared and enjoyed by all.
Father’s Day was celebrated on Friday 3rd September with a special cake made from our kitchen and a gift each from Brylyn of a Tee Shirt and Shaving Gel. It was a happy and enjoyable day.
This month the surprise lunch was on the 21st and our residents had Fish and Chips from the fresh fish Seafood Bazaar who make very good fish take-aways and this was followed by a special dessert made by Lin our chef of a Chocolate Self Sauce Pudding.
There were no bus trips this month due to the Covid lockdown.
Canine Friends Pet Therapy and our religious services have been on hold. We hope these services will be able to resume sometime soon.
Bingo is still enjoyed twice a week plus there are games mornings, crafts and walks outside to take in the fresh air and enjoy the sunshine.
Feedback is always welcomed.
Keep well and be safe, until next month,
Regards
Jennifer Slement and all at Brylyn.
